Why is it still USB streaming even when I've connected VIVE Focus Vision to a DisplayPort port on my computer?

If you're not able to take advantage of a DisplayPort connection, check the following:
  • Make sure to use the VIVE Wired Streaming Kit to connect your headset to the computer. If your computer doesn't have a DisplayPort port, use the adapters in the kit to connect VIVE Focus Vision to the computer. Don't use other cables. See .
  • Check the converter's DisplayPort cable is connected to a DisplayPort port on your computer's graphics card.
  • Check the VIVE Business Streaming console to see if there are any errors. If there are errors, follow the troubleshooting steps to resolve them.
  • Check the VIVE Business Streaming console to see if the USB icon is orange. The USB icon turns to when using a DisplayPort connection.
  • If your notebook is using an NVIDIA graphics card, open the NVIDIA Control Panel and check if it has Manage Display mode under 3D Settings. If you see the Manage Display mode option, click it, and then select NVIDIA GPU only.
Important: DisplayPort mode using the VIVE Wired Streaming Kit is only supported on VIVE Focus Vision.
