Accessing your PC in VIVE Sync
When you connect a PC VR headset to your PC via a USB or wireless connection, you can access and use your PC in
VIVE Sync.
You can also stream PC VR content from your PC to the headset.
Note: For
VIVE Focus 3, you need to connect the headset to a high-performance PC that's installed with
VIVE Business Streaming to stream PC VR content. For details, visit
VIVE Business Streaming Support.
Here's how to access your PC in
VIVE Sync:
- Open the Sync Menu, and then select Desktop.
- Select the PC desktop thumbnail.
- Navigate the desktop just as you would do on your computer. You can check email, open files, and more.
To find out how to move, resize, and share your PC desktop window, see Working with content windows.
Tip:
- You can join Microsoft Teams and Zoom conference calls from the Desktop window. To find out how, see Making Microsoft Teams calls in VIVE Sync and Making Zoom calls in VIVE Sync.
- You can use the Remote Desktop feature to access several PCs. This feature is available only on all-in-one headsets. For details, see Accessing one or more PCs in VIVE Sync.
