My computer doesn't recognize the headset and the USB icon on VIVE Business Streaming console is gray. What can I do?

If your computer doesn't recognize the headset, try these:
  • Check if the headset is in standby mode (status LED is breathing white). If it is, wake the headset by pressing the headset button.
  • If you're using the VIVE Wired Streaming Kit with VIVE Focus Vision, disconnect and reconnect the VIVE Wired Streaming Cable from the converter.
  • If you're using a USB Type-C cable, disconnect and reconnect the cable from the computer.
  • Try connecting the headset to a different USB or DisplayPort port on your computer.
  • If you've connected the USB cable to all the USB ports on your computer, and it still doesn't recognize the headset, try this:
    1. In your headset, go to Settings > Advanced or Settings > Advanced > Developer options.
    2. Turn on the USB compatibility mode On/Off switch.
