Setting a device passcode

You can set a device passcode to protect your headset from unauthorized access. Your headset prompts you to enter the passcode when you do one of the following:

Restart the headset.
Turn on the headset when the power is off.
Put the headset back on and wake it up from sleep mode.
Tip: You can adjust sleep mode settings in Settings > Advanced.

Here's how to set your device passcode:

In the headset, go to Settings > Advanced > Security settings.
Select Set next to Device lock.
Enter a four to eight-digit passcode.
Enter the passcode again to confirm it.

Tip: To disable the passcode, select Disable next to Device lock.
