Enrolling the headset using the device enrollment token
- Upload the token directly to the headset

Uploading the token directly to the headset

Rename the device enrollment token from "QRCodeContent.json" to "DeviceConfiguration.json".

Copy the renamed JSON file to the root folder of the microSD card inserted in the headset.

Factory reset the device. See Resetting VIVE Focus 3 (factory reset).
The device enrollment token will be applied automatically after the headset restarts. Now you can set up the headset for Microsoft Intune. For details, see Setting up the headset for Microsoft Intune.
Creating and uploading a batch configuration package to the headset
Only VIVE Focus 3 headsets running software version 5.2 can be enrolled in Microsoft Intune using a batch configuration package.

In your computer's web browser, go to the VIVE Business Device Management System: https://business.vive.com/dm/dashboard/. You may need to sign in with your HTC account.

From the Dashboard, find Create Batch Configuration Package under All-in-One and click Go.

Under Batch Configuration for All-in-One VR Devices, click VIVE Focus 3.

Click Create New.

On the next page, find the heading Mobile Device Management (MDM) Solution.

Under Upload MDM apk files, click Select APK and upload the Microsoft agent APK file associated with the device enrollment token JSON file. You can download the APK file from the URL provided in the JSON file under "android.app.extra.PROVISIONING_DEVICE_ADMIN_PACKAGE_DOWNLOAD_LOCATION".

Under Credentials configuration file (Optional), click Select and upload the device enrollment token JSON file.

Download the batch configuration package and key, copy them to the root folder of the microSD card in headset, and then factory reset the device.
The device enrollment token will be applied automatically after the headset restarts. Now you can set up the headset for Microsoft Intune. For details, see Setting up the headset for Microsoft Intune.
