Generating a QR code to enroll devices

Create a QR code to quickly enroll devices.
Important: You need to enroll your headsets in order for you to manage them using VIVE Business+. To learn how to enroll your headsets, see Enrolling devices.
  1. In VIVE Business+, do any of the following:
    • Click Dashboard. Under Enroll devices, click Go.
    • Click Manage devices > Registered > Enroll.
  2. Under Device information, enter the following information:
    • Device name Give a name for the device(s) you’re enrolling.
      Note: Select Use current device settings to use the current device name.
    • Number of devices If you're enrolling more than one device, select Add numbered suffix and then enter how many devices you're enrolling. Adding a numbered suffix prevents duplication of device names.

      When Add numbered suffix is selected, the device name of the first device you enroll will be device_name1. The succeeding devices you enroll will be named device_name2, device_name3, and so on until you've reached the number entered in Number of devices.

    • Group If you want to add the device you're enrolling to an existing group, select the group here.
      Warning: Make sure the devices in the selected group is the same as the device you're enrolling. For example, if you're enrolling VIVE Focus 3 devices, the selected group must also contain VIVE Focus 3 devices.
  3. Under Wi-Fi settings, enter the necessary Wi-Fi network information so devices can connect to the Wi-Fi network. Devices need to be connected to Wi-Fi to enroll them, get updates, and download apps and files.
    Note:
    • If you want to keep using the device's current Wi-Fi settings, select Keep the original settings of the device.
    • Make sure the Wi-Fi access point and headset are in close proximity of each other.
    • Currently, devices can only be enrolled to VIVE Business+ when they're connected to a Wi-Fi network using the 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz band.
  4. Click Enroll.
