Troubleshooting ArUco marker generation

Try the following if you're unable to generate JSON files with the VIVE ArUco Marker Generator.

If you're unable to generate ArUco marker JSON files, the symbol your system uses as the decimal separator may not be compatible with the VIVE ArUco Marker Generator, which uses a period. Follow the steps below to change your system's decimal separator.

  1. In Windows®, click the Start button, then select Settings > Time & Language > Language.
  2. Under Related settings, select Administrative language settings. The Region dialog box will appear.
  3. On the Formats tab, click the Additional settings button. The Customize Format dialog box will appear.
  4. Change the Decimal symbol setting to a period.
  5. Restart the VIVE ArUco Marker Generator and try generating the JSON file again.
